Year 2 Update

10th February 2023

It has been a busy 1st half of term in Year 2.

So far, we have been hard at work completing activities and tasks in and out of the classroom.

We have completed lots of investigations on seeds and plants in the classroom during our Science sessions. We have produced some lovely artwork on Mombasa sunsets and lesos and we have continued to progress in our writing skills in English where we wrote our very own fantasy stories.

We are looking forward to an even busier 2nd half of the term where we have an upcoming assembly on ‘Recycling’, a project showcase afternoon and a KS1 production titled ‘Stella the Starfish’ in addition to our 2nd class trip on our history topic ‘Mombasa 100 Years ago’.
