Year 2 Trip to The Beach

Year 2 had a wonderful trip last week when we all went to the beach for the day.
The weather was hot, but despite the heat, the children ran around exploring the plentiful rock pools, the marvellous mangroves, the soft sand and the shiny sea.
As part of our Literacy, we described the setting we were in, thinking carefully about what we could see, hear, touch, smell, taste and feel.
