Year 2 News

26th May 2023

This has been a busy and interesting first half of the final term in Year 2. We have enjoyed engaging in our new topics in History (Stone Age) and Science (Materials); in addition to the other subjects. We have also enjoyed the wet weather in Mombasa and have been putting our wellies to good use during playtime.

Here are a few of our highlights:

“ I have enjoyed doing my first Maths challenge this term” Willa Y2

“ I have enjoyed reading and writing ‘quest stories’ in English” Erin Y2

“I have enjoyed drawing and painting the stone age during Art” David Y2

We are now looking forward to the next half of term and our final weeks in Key stage 1. We are excited about presenting our History projects and going for a day trip to Close The Gap (week 7), in addition to our first residential trip/ school sleepover in week 10.
