Year 2 News

27th September 2024

We are delighted to share that our Year 2 students have settled in wonderfully and are eager to embrace new challenges with a smile. Their enthusiasm for learning has been clear from the start, and they are showing great interest across all subjects.

In Science, the children are exploring the fascinating world of animals, including humans. They are learning about life cycles, different animal species, and how humans grow and develop. The students are engaged in hands-on activities and discussions, making this topic come to life in exciting ways.

In Maths, we are focusing on addition and subtraction, helping the children build a solid foundation for problem-solving. They’ve been practicing their skills through fun activities and games, which make learning both effective and enjoyable.

In English, we are reading “Peace at Last”, and the children have thoroughly enjoyed the story. They have been sequencing the events and discussing the characters' experiences, which has sparked their creativity and love for storytelling.

As the term progresses, we look forward to seeing their continued growth and confidence in all areas. Well done, Year 2! Keep up the fantastic work!
