14th June 2024
Welcome to our term 3 newsletter for Year 10 Business Studies. It has been an exciting term, full of learning and development as students delved into the marketing mix fundamentals and demonstrated their understanding through the end of year examinations.
Marketing Mix Exploration
This term, our focus has been on the marketing mix, often called the 4Ps: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. Students have explored how businesses use these elements to attract customers and gain a competitive edge in the market. Through various activities, case studies, and group discussions, students have learned to:
- Identify and explain the components of the marketing mix.
- Analyse how different companies implement their marketing strategies.
- Develop their marketing plans for hypothetical products.
The students have shown remarkable creativity and analytical skills in their approach to these tasks, making the learning process both enjoyable and enriching.
End of Year Examination - Paper 2
Students sat for their end of year examination, which comprised paper 2. This examination tested their understanding of the marketing mix and their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios plus 2 other units. The results of the examinations will be shared next week, and we are confident that the hard work and dedication of our students will reflect in their performance.
Congratulations to all students for completing this important milestone!
We are delighted to share the latest updates from our BTEC Business course for term 3. The term has been dynamic and engaging, with students working hard on research and assignments and preparing for upcoming assessments.
