This term in Year 1, we have taken a step back in time to learn about the prehistoric period! Year 1 children have been captivated when learning the names, behaviours and diets of dinosaurs and recently created some spectacular ‘Dinosaur Silhouette’ artwork.
These pieces were used to inspire some action sentences in English lessons when we learnt about the purpose of verbs in sentence construction. The finished product was very pleasing, as you will see from the following examples:
