What is New with Early Years Pupils?

The FS1 Topic this half term is ‘All About Me’. This week, the children have been learning about ‘our families’. They brought family pictures from home and showed and share them with the other children during circle time. We have also been learning about different feelings and emotions. The children had a go talking about the different feelings. They then made a mobile of faces showing different feelings and emotions. In Literacy, we have been listening to different environmental sounds as part of the Letters and Sounds Phase 1. The children made big ears and went on a listening walk around the school. They listened out to different environmental sounds and it was great to hear the children talk about what they heard during the walk.
