Besides going over the end of year tests and making corrections, the students have gained skills and concepts on some content they have learnt.

Year 7 Science

In Year 7 Science, students have been exploring the fascinating world of chemistry. They conducted experiments to understand chemical reactions, mixing substances to observe changes. From colourful reactions to creating foamy concoctions, they learned the basics of lab safety and scientific processes.

Year 8 Science

Year 8 Science students have been engrossed in studying physics. They have been experimenting with motion and forces, constructing models to understand concepts like gravity and friction. Through hands-on activities, they have honed their problem-solving skills and gained a deeper appreciation for the laws that govern our physical world.

Year 9 Science

In Year 9 Science, students have been delving into the captivating field of biology. They have explored ecosystems, dissected organisms, and examined microscopic life under the microscope. From investigating plant growth to studying DNA, they have embraced the wonders of life science and developed a strong foundation for future biological exploration.

Year 10 Biology

Year 10 Biology students have been immersed in the study of living organisms. They have engaged in practical experiments to understand concepts such as genetics, evolution, and human anatomy. From dissecting specimens to coordination and response, they have gained valuable insights into the intricate workings of life and its interconnectedness.

Year 10 Chemistry

Year 10 Chemistry students have been uncovering the secrets of matter and its transformations. Through hands-on experiments, they have explored chemical reactions, investigated the properties of elements and compounds, and learned about the periodic table. From observing exciting reactions to analysing chemical equations, they have sharpened their analytical and critical thinking skills in the captivating world of chemistry.
