Music is a universal language that knows no boundaries, and our Year 9 students have embarked on an exciting journey to decode its secrets. In recent weeks, they delved into the fascinating world of music loops, discovering how these powerful tools can transform ordinary tunes into extraordinary compositions. Through this exploration, they uncovered the magic of creating texture and depth in popular music.
The journey didn't end at theory alone. Our students got hands-on experience with digital audio workstations (DAWs), such as GarageBand and Ableton Live, to craft their songs. These modern tools allowed them to manipulate loops with precision, turning their musical visions into reality.
