The Great Braeburn Bake-Off and Family Picnic

Our royal-themed ‘Great Braeburn Bake-Off’ was a culinary hit with a large variety of sweet treats measured, stirred, poured, mixed and baked by our students and their families. The large array of desserts included Braeburn-inspired macarons, Victoria sponge strawberry cupcakes, raspberry and chocolate trifle, and The Royal Capple, a carrot and apple tray-bake cake. Judging was very tricky and we looked at the taste, presentation, effort and relevance to the theme.

All participants received 5 house points and finalists 10. We look forward to awarding certificates in assembly on Monday.
