SPORTS NEWS

We are very pleased to be back on site with lessons. We will be observing the schools protocols for safety during these lessons.

This term we will be starting with Football and Netball along with some

basketball. We are not yet able to play any Rugby.

The children will need their normal PE kit, shorts/skort, tshirt, hat and

water bottle plus shinpads and long socks (for football) and suitable

footwear.

During Football lessons it is not mandatory for studded boots as the

ground is still quite hard, but something that is good for football. If the

children do have studded boots I would recommend ‘moulded’ or shorter

studs due to the ground.

Swimming kit will still be needed and will be the usual, costume, towel, rash

vest, goggles where possible and water bottle.

Later in the term we will look towards teaching some cricket and rounders.

These lessons will need no specialist equipment, but of course if children

have their own bats etc they are welcome to bring them.
