Year 9 students have been experiencing being “film soundtrack composers” and exploring the challenges and musical devices used in film soundtrack composition. This week they created a musical soundtrack to the class “horror movie” using a storyboard to help them in their planning. They thought carefully about what instruments and sounds to use in each different scene, which last 10 seconds.
They also worked on playing simple chords on the ukulele.
