Respect Day

1st October 2019

Last Thursday was Respect Day at BMIS. We took this opportunity to think about respect for each other, for the environment, and for books. The morning passed in a blur for Primary; after a calm start in their own classrooms, talking about respect, watching some animations and reflecting on what they had learnt, the children went into their House groups to make a bookmark each, in readiness for celebrating books before lunch. Once they had made their book marks in smaller groups, the children reunited into their 3 separate Houses.

The children and staff had a wonderful day, getting out of the classroom and escaping routine for a few hours, to really think about RESPECT and what it means to us.
