This year marked the commencement of primary art with remarkable enthusiasm. Our endeavours have encompassed the creation of numerous art pieces and an in-depth exploration of theoretical art. Our objective is to delve into the various elements and principles of art and design, with a particular emphasis on colour this term. The exploration of the colour wheel, encompassing primary, secondary, and tertiary colours, as well as warm and cool colours, has captivated the children, evident in their keen interest in colour-centric displays. As we venture into the realm of theoretical art, we are gearing up for our upcoming termly art challenges set to begin next term. Anticipation is palpable among students eager to participate in these challenges. The resounding sentiment is that ART IS THERAPEUTIC.
