Population Dynamics - Year 10 Geography

22nd September 2023

Year 10 students’ research skills, findings, presentations and discussions are impressive. The topics they studied ranged from the impacts of overpopulation vs under population to migration and settlement. They also drew population pyramids and calculated the population density.

The case studies done recently focused on the population dynamics in Japan and Australia. The aim was to provide a comprehensive understanding of how various factors have influenced population growth, migration patterns, and urbanisation in these regions. Through data analysis and discussions, we have identified both challenges and opportunities associated with these dynamics, which can inform future development strategies.

These insightful skills have shown a deep understanding of population dynamics and its real-world implications.
