Music and Art exhibition afternoon

28th June 2022

This Thursday we had the pleasure of hosting our termly Music and Art exhibition afternoon where the children showcased all the skills they have learnt in their peripatetic lessons. There were so many wonderful performances on the drum set, guitars, violins and piano. Well done to all involved!

Live Painting

The music afternoon event always provides the opportunity for the art department to showcase students’ work.

This term, BMIS students’ work on display exhibited a diverse range of ideas, media and themes such as the Mayas, charcoal still life, etching compositions and watercolour landscapes.

Some of the secondary art students had the opportunity to paint live whilst primary students performed. Well done Chantal Omollo, Kingdavid Jeremiah, Idah Kinya and Renisa Malde for the amazing live drawings you produced from landscapes to flowers in pastels and pencil.
