Life-long learner and student enjoying success

6th July 2023

Renisa’s success story started several years ago when a teacher of Mandarin used Braeburn Mombasa facilities to give lessons to interested students. Renisa signed up, attended the lessons diligently and made rapid progress. As it became apparent that she had a natural ability for languages, Renisa embraced her gift and continued to follow a committed approach to her studies in Mandarin, dedicating time for lessons outside her demanding school timetable. Despite an increase in the amount of academic work she had to produce as she progressed through the year groups and key stages, Renisa remained devoted to her learning of the Mandarin language and sat several examinations to gain recognition of her level. The last event she took part in was a spelling bee attended by students from all over the country and in which she did extremely well, reaching second position.

We would like to congratulate Renisa on her achievement and celebrate her commitment, hard work and focus.

The skills you have developed through the study of the Mandarin language are invaluable and transferable, and will be extremely useful in your education and personal life.

Well done Renisa!
