In the first half of the term, our focus was on Mental health.
We started by introducing mental health and recognising signs of good mental health.
We then focused on the following subtopics
- Emotional wellbeing
- Dealing with stress
- Pressures and Influences
- Facing Challenges
- Bereavement
- Recognising signs of poor mental health

This term Year 11 have been researching, presenting and discussing a wide range of topics under the heading of Independence. They have discussed ‘responsible health choices and safety in independent contexts.’
