9th September 2022

The Year 7 students started the term with some exciting activities In Geography. They were able to define Geography as the study of places and the relationships between people and their environments. They described the 3 main areas of study and were able to create posters on the same.

Physical Geography: the study of Earth’s natural existence, climate, atmosphere, soil, streams, landforms, and oceans.

Human Geography: the study of the distribution of networks of people and cultures on Earth’s surface.

Environmental Geography: the study of how humans interact with the environment. Pollution, population and how we make the Earth warmer.

They later presented their work by sharing their findings in detail.

They are looking forward to the term and are excited about Geography.
