KS2 Roundup

6th July 2023

What a term, what a year, what a school! BMIS just gets better and better, never more obvious than in our recent, annual BGT performances. Mr Cornelius and Ms Yvonne kept the pace and energy going throughout all the acts and the judges were positive and encouraging- even in those comments about the teachers’ act! All of the acts showed courage, skill and perseverance- well done to everyone who took part.

It has been a short term but crammed with amazing things, with residential trips being a major highlight, especially for our fantastic out-going Year 6 students. Transition took place last week, leaving the children feeling excited and happy about the upcoming year. We will sadly say goodbye to some but look forward to welcoming old and new faces back to Braeburn Mombasa in August.

As teachers, we get to see the incredible growth of our precious charges as the year progresses. Although it’s always hard to see a class go, it is with great pride that we wave them off to their next class, on their way to bigger, better and brighter challenges and opportunities that we know we have helped get them ready for.

We wish you a restful, relaxing respite from school over the next few weeks and can’t wait to see what 2023-2024 brings us.

Thank you, as ever, for your amazing support and warmth. Have a truly wonderful holiday.

Ms Russell - KS2 Coordinator
