KS2 News - Year 3

4th October 2021

Our Science topic in Year 3 is ‘Forces’. We have been doing many experiments such as;

how does the surface affect how far the car will move with the same amount of force? We also looked around Primary to see what things we had to push or pull in order for them to work. Part of our ‘Forces’ topic is also to learn about magnets. We learnt that magnets have a south pole and north pole. If a south pole and a north pole come together they will attract. If a north pole and another north pole come together they repel. We each felt how strong the magnets were when they repelled! Next week will be our class assembly and we will be practicing all week! I hope to see as many Year 3 parents as I can so you can see what we have been learning about this term.
