A very warm welcome to Term 3!
I have been so impressed by the work ethic and engagement from both KS1 classes since returning from the break. It seems the rest and recent drop in temperature have really helped a lot and I am confident of a very successful third term ahead.
We welcome two new students to Key Stage 1, Louis who has joined us from Germany and Lu Ming who has recently arrived from China. Both students are in Year 1 and have been warmly welcomed by their classmates.
We have another bumper term ahead with events such as the Spelling Bee, Maths Challenge, Bake Off and Eid celebrations, to name just a few, in the first half of term 3 alone. Then in week 10, we have the much anticipated Year 1/2 dinner and sleepover, where Year 1 students stay at school until evening for some games and dinner while Year 2 students sleep the night in the boarding house compound.
Finally, I would like to remind families to ensure that children come to school dressed in accordance with our Primary School Uniform Policy:
Thank you once again for your ongoing support! We are so grateful for your assistance at home and are looking forward to another brilliant term together in KS1.
