Key Stage 1 News

9th April 2019

What a brilliant, hardworking and fun term we have had. Despite the heat, the children have remained focussed and enthusiastic!

The big focus this term has of course been our epic production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’, but alongside this, all classes have been working hard in all their other subjects too.

I especially loved Year 1’s work on fractions. Their pizza pictures looked good enough to eat and their knowledge of halves and quarters is pretty special too.

Year 2 took a trip to the atmospheric Fort Jesus. The children loved looking and experiencing what we had learnt about in class. They asked some super questions of our guide and really got a sense of the different cultural influences on this historic building.
