Inter-School Swimming Competition
Inter-School Swimming Competition

On Saturday a group of boys and girls competed in the inter-school swimming gala at Agha khan Academy. The boys and girls all gave a fantastic performance, with many doing very well in their heats. Once the individual races were over, it moved over to the team relays of 4 x 25 relay, medley relay and 4 x 25 freestyle mixed relay. BMIS completely dominated in the 9-10 age category outperforming some schools by a complete length!

The children represented BMIS brilliantly and showed great sportsmanship cheering others on despite the long hours. Overall the results of the competition were:

Neema Ruwa emerged as the top swimmer in the girl’s category.

The boy's team was 3rd position

The girl's team was 3rd position

Combined team score, the school was ranked 3rd position overall

Well done to all the children who took part!
