IAPS Chess Tournament

On Saturday 6th May, Daniel, Ayden, Dev, Aaryan and Denis, five of our strongest chess players travelled to Braeburn Gitanga Road for the inaugural IAPS Chess Tournament. With players from IAPS schools all around the country, the competition was hot but our players more than held their own in each of the 5 rounds.
A special congratulations must go to our Under 11 team, made up of Dev, Ayden and Aaryan, who finished in 1st place and were awarded the U11 shield. Aaryan was also awarded the gold medal for finishing 1st in the U11 competition and remained undefeated in all 5 of his matches.
What an outstanding performance and a huge well done to our 5 representatives. You did Braeburn Mombasa proud!
