Table tennis club has been the highlight of my day in school every Monday. I chose this activity because I wanted to learn how to play this sport and I fell in love with the sport. It is particularly good for you if you have sharp responses and are very agile.
I also enjoyed watching professional table tennis clips in world renowned events such as the Olympics. The best players in the world mostly come from China such as Ma Long and Fan Zhendong. They have the most interesting way to hold the bat and do the slice shot really well.
I have mastered the rules now when playing table tennis and it is a very competitive and skilful game. I would encourage everyone to take the sport on. It was fascinating to hear that Ms Janoowalla’s family in London have helped set up a table tennis club for the elderly, especially those who suffer from dementia. It has a great name ‘Ping is King’ and I hope to do something like that one day.

I recently participated in a highly enjoyable table tennis after school activity, where the energy in the room was contagious. The cheers and laughter spread throughout, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
The fast-paced rallies challenged my reflexes, providing an exhilarating experience that left me wanting more of the exciting table tennis action. It was really fun playing with everyone and seeing how people improved over time including Ms Janoowalla!
