Healthy Snacks and Treat Fridays

2nd September 2022

We encourage the children to eat a balanced diet, and this is taught in a number of ways including through PSHE, Science and our daily interactions with the children at breaktime and lunchtime. We provide fruit for the children on a daily basis and encourage them to eat a range of cuisines through our varied school lunch menu.

In the Early Years and Primary school, children are expected to have a healthy snack from Monday to Thursday and are allowed to have a treat on Fridays. This can include crisps, chocolate biscuits or a slice of cake. However, they are not allowed to eat chocolates or sweets. Please remember EYFS is also nut free.

Grapes seemed to be the fruit of the week this week!
