As part of their GCSE PE course the Year 10 have to complete a unit on diet and healthy eating. To make sure that the students practice what they preach they were given the challenge of creating a healthy lunch fit for an athlete. The students were required to explain why each element that they had included would be helpful for an athlete in training. The results were pleasantly surprising and they worked well as a team to create lunch for ten people.
