The busy bees of FS2 have been enjoying their new topic, Sunflowers.
- Exploring sunflower seeds using magnifying glasses and using great descriptive vocabulary
- Learning about the parts of a plant
- The lifecycle of a sunflower
- Looking at real sunflowers and making observational painting
- Art inspired by Van Gough’s famous Sunflower painting
- Learning about odds and evens with sunflower seeds
- Reading non-fiction books and writing about what they know
- Planting sunflower seeds, watering the garden and waiting patiently to observe them grow.
