EYFS News - FS2

In FS2 we have enjoyed our first topic of the term on Gardens. They have learnt about what plants need to grow, the parts of a plant and the lifecycle of a bean plant. The children have planted their own beans and will watch them grow and keep a diary of them over this half term. FS2 have a class experiment and together are writing a class diary. We have planted beans in four cups. One cup has soil, sun and water. The second cup has no water, the third cup has no sun and the fourth cup was planted in soil. The children are very eager every morning to see if our class experiment beans have grown. Each day they look at their beans which were planted in cotton wool to seen how much they have grown. We look forward to eventually planting them in our garden.
