EYFS News - FS1 Class

The children in Early Years have had a great start to term 2. They are happy and excited to be back in school. This first half of term, we will focus on fairy tale stories and learn a variety of number songs and rhymes.
In FS1, we began by listening to the story ‘The Gingerbread Man’ and the rhyme '1,2,3,4,5 once l caught a fish alive'. The children have done a variety of activities based on the 7 areas of learning. These activities included: gingerbread man art, fishing for numbered fish and decorating gingerbread men using playdough and buttons and painting. The children have also been helping to feed him our pet rabbits and tortoise by preparing food for them.
