D&T in FS2

The busy bees in FS2 have enjoyed our construction D&T topic on bridges and towers. They have had to design, make and evaluate their work. They chose their resources, drew their pictures and made their pictures using their plan. They had to talk about whether their end product looked like their plan or not, what they liked about it and what they would do differently next time.
Our topic had the class working as a team to make a den out of chairs, cushions, a sheet and pegs. They had a great time talking about what to do, trying different ways of making it and repeating this activity over a few days. The den was extended in their play with toys, food and decorations for their den.
