Dough Disco Day

19th June 2017

We had a great Dough Disco Day in EYFS. Thank you to all the parents that joined us for this fun event. The EYFS children and parents got some fine motor skill and pre writing exercises today with play dough and music. The children enjoyed going around to different activities to develop their fine motor skills. Some of the different activities were weaving pipe cleaners through sieves, cutting and pasting and putting pompoms into cups.

'Dough Disco' is a fun activity which combines the use of play dough with a series of hand and finger exercises designed to improve fine muscle control. The movements develop children's fine and gross motor dexterity, hand-eye coordination and self-esteem.
