Week Two has come to an end. How are you all doing? Are you taking care of yourself?

What is Self-Care?

Self-Care is the practice of taking an active role in protecting your own well-being and happiness, most particularly during stressful periods.

It does not mean, contrary to popular belief, treating yourself to self-indulgent activities.

Rather, Self-Care is doing what you know is good for you, even if you don’t want to do it: step away from work/books; go for a jog; eat healthy; go to bed earlier or go take a bath for some “you time.”

Here are some ideas on how you can practise self-care:

Plan short term and long term goals

Have a fantastic weekend and make an effort to take care of yourself everyday.
