24th May 2024
On Saturday 11th of May, Braeburn Mombasa had the honour of attending the DELF PRIM awards ceremony, where our students were recognised for their outstanding performance in the DELF PRIM exams at levels A1 and A1.1. We are immensely proud to announce that Vyan was awarded the best in Mombasa for level A1, while Daniel achieved the second-best score in level A1.1.
Vyan represented the students in his speech, highlighting the sacrifices they made to excel in their exams. He mentioned how they gave up their playtime and took on additional homework to ensure thorough revision. This dedication and hard work have truly paid off.
The students worked collaboratively in the ICT room, partnering up to practise their speaking skills. This teamwork was instrumental in their success. Special commendations go to Daniel, who scored a perfect 25/25 in the speaking test, closely followed by Mannat with an impressive 24.5/25.
Mannat's journey has been particularly inspiring; she initially found speaking to be challenging, but through perseverance and a keen willingness to ask questions during revision sessions, she became fluent and impressed the examiner on the exam day.
Throughout the revision I shared videos of their progress with individual parents, and I'm sure you'll agree that it has been a remarkable journey. The commitment and perseverance of these young learners are truly commendable.
Looking ahead, I am excited about the continued cooperation and effort toward achieving even greater success in future exams. Once again, congratulations to all the students for their hard work and diligence.
